BSCG Certified Drug Free® – Supplements

BSCG’s supplement certification offers the maximum drug-testing and toxicology protection to athletes and other elite professionals like police, fire, military, and others who want to ensure their supplements are free of drugs that are prohibited in sport and other drug-testing programs. Finished products are tested for our full menu of 392+ drugs (207+ drugs banned in sport and 185+ drugs not banned in sport). A GMP audit, annual label verification and testing for a complete suite of contaminants are other key elements.

BSCG Certified Drug Free® – Raw Materials / Ingredients

BSCG’s raw material /ingredient certification brings our protection down a level in the manufacturing chain to ensure that the components of dietary supplements are free of drugs and contamination prior to use in a finished product. Ingredients are not only tested for our menu of 392+ drugs but we also verify the identity of ingredients and test each for our complete suite of contaminants.

BSCG Certified Drug Free® – Manufacturing Facilities

BSCG offers certification for manufacturing facilities of dietary supplements to ensure standard operating procedures meet the standards of the FDA’s 21 C.F.R. 111 – Good Manufacturing Practices and quality standards for ingredients and finished products are met. We evaluate not only the procedures but more importantly the results. BSCG randomly selects five finished products and three raw materials every six months and tests for our menu of 392+ drugs. Annual testing is conducted for ingredient verification or label claims and our full suite of contaminants.

BSCG Certified Drug Free® – Athlete Assurance Program

Individual leagues, teams and athletes often use a multitude of supplement products, some that are certified and some that might not be. Banned Substances Control Group (BSCG) offers an individualized and customized testing program to accommodate these situations and provide the same level of protection we do through our Certified Drug Free® finished product certification. Our Athlete Assurance Program enables individual groups or athletes to send representative samples of their custom supplement regiment prior to use.

• Supplement certification for individual leagues, teams or athletes that want to ensure their custom supplement regiments are Certified Drug Free®.
• Clients send representative samples of their supplement regiment for testing.
• oRepresentative samples of the product are tested for more than 392 drugs (207+ banned in sport and 185+ prescription and over-the-counter medications).
• If desired, additional testing for label claims, heavy metals, pesticides, solvents, and microbiological agents can be added.
• Participating league, team or athlete listed on BSCG Certified Drug Free® Clients page and marketing materials.
