SUPPORT CLEAN SPORT: A BSCG CHARITY PARTNER

BSCG is pleased to serve as a cornerstone partner of Support Clean Sport, a grassroots initiative of the nonprofit/NGO ADR (Anti-Doping Research), that aims to empower an environment of clean sport and demonstrate that real athletes don’t need to dope to win.

SCS is a proactive vision for the future of clean sport. It is a community based initiative of the non-profit Anti-Doping Research (ADR), headed by renowned sports testing pioneer Dr. Don Catlin. For too long the anti-doping community has fought for clean sport through drug testing and research alone, relying on a punitive enforcement-based system to solve the problem.

Many people around the world care about what happens in sport and anti-doping but do not feel they have an opportunity or forum to participate in addressing the issues. SCS enables anyone to be involved in the solution, from athletes, to brands, to scientists, to nutritionists and, yes, to sports fans.

SCS embodies a commitment to a culture of clean sport, which BSCG has long fostered through its trusted network of certified drug free supplements and its efforts to address banned substance issues that impact athletes and the larger consumer environment. SCS brings athletes, coaches, health and nutrition experts, drug-testing professionals, concerned companies and other interested parties together to enable and celebrate real athletes.

To this end, SCS and BSCG are proud to bring the vision to the streets by sponsoring and supporting real athletes. We have been proud sponsors of the Support Clean Sport/BSCG/Guttenplan Coaching Cycling Team. In 2018 our team leader Dave Guttenplan took home the overall season win and the orange jersey in the USA CRITS series with the team taking 4th. Supporting clean riders who carry the BSCG seal on the streets to victory is exactly what we want to support with our sponsorship.
